There have been a lot of news stories about the data breach at Target that compromised 40 million credit card numbers.  As it turns out Target was not the only retailer hit by the BlackPOS malware on their Point of Sale [POS] machines. Target is making resources available to affected consumers including free credit monitoring and identity theft protection for 1 year.  Information about this program from Target can be found here.
