Just an update on the continuing woes with iOS 9.1 from Apple.

The worst of the problems concern severe battery drain, broken Touch ID, problems connecting to your cell provider, app and contacts problems, and Message malfunctions.

As before, we recommend users who rely on iOS devices for their teaching and primary tasks do NOT upgrade to iOS 9. It is still very buggy and upgrading to it from iOS 8 will likely present you with a poor user experience.

The only devices that should be using iOS 9 at this point are those that shipped with iOS 9 already installed or any user who is dependent on apps that absolutely require iOS 9 in order to function. All other users, including users of older iOS devices like the iPhone 4S should avoid iOS 9 for now.
