In light of recent events about Facebook, here are some videos and resources to help users take control over their Facebook privacy settings.
Bridget Carey at CNET has a great video piece here:

For those who want just the facts, CNET has 6 easy steps here:

Wired Magazine also has a great article and video as well:

For people very concerned about their privacy, stop using the Facebook App on your devices. Access Facebook only from the browser and make sure your privacy settings on the browser are buttoned up tight.
Finally Krebs on Security gives the best reason to never do those stupid quizzes or apps on Facebook. They give away historic details about yourself.

Finally, it’s tax time so be aware of phishing scams and the usual fake IT, bank, delivery company, etc emails that try to get you to surrender personal information, download fake virus infested files, or try to make you type in your user and password. These types of attacks are all attempts to steal your personal information. As before, if you have any questions about whether an email is fake, please ask. There is not such thing as a dumb question. Remember, only you can prevent data loss.
Thanks,
Albert
