Adobe has just patched major vulnerabilities in Flash Player, Adober Reader and Acrobat, Adobe AIR SDK, and Illustrator CS6.

Anyone running any of these programs (which would be most of our users) should update their software by either running the Adobe Updater program, or for Adobe Reader and Flash, going straight to Adobe to download the latest versions.

Most users will only be affected by the updates needed for Flash Player and Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

Just point your favorite web browser to www.adobe.com and click on the Download link.  In the right gray box you should see the available latest downloads for Adobe Reader and Flash Player.

Adobe Acrobat (pro) users should use the Adobe updater program that came with Acrobat (pro) to update the program.

To install Adobe Reader and Acrobat updates from Adobe Updater, do the following:

    • Launch Adobe Reader or Acrobat.
    • Choose Help > Check for Updates.
    • Follow the steps in the Updater window to download and install the latest updates.
