IS&T has announced the release of the new Citrix Receiver version 11.8.2 for Mac OS X (10.6 through 10.9). For those using Citrix, the Receiver software client lets you securely access applications hosted on Citrix, such as BrioQuery, SAPgui, and CCure, on all operating systems.

Known Issues
With Citrix Receiver 11.8.2 for Mac, BrioQuery users cannot save custom queries to their local drive. A workaround is available. Users who regularly create or edit queries should remain on Citrix 11.3.2. Please note that this problem does not affect the export to Excel report function.

Citrix has removed the ability to access the native Mac print dialog box, preventing Save-to-PDF. Users who need Print-to-PDF functionality should stay on Citrix 11.3.2.

Bottom Line:

Because many of our SHASS areas are reliant on the Print to PDF option, it is currently NOT RECOMMENDED that anyone in SHASS update to this new version of the Citrix Client at this time.
